Hey doods and peeps, welcome to another episode of The G-Views. A man known as Eric Bischoff once wrote a book titled, “Controversy Creates Cash”. That title’s meaning couldn’t be more evident than in the following anime. The show I highly consider one of the most controversial this year. This is Koyoukai Senjou no Horizon.
The North American publisher Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it will release Milk Morinaga‘s yuri manga Girl Friends next year. It will come in an omnibus edition, which combines two or more volumes of the Japanese edition.
Girl Friends follows a smart but lonely high school girl named Mariko Kumakura and her relationship with Akko Ōhashi, the popular and beautiful girl who vows to bring Kumakura out of her shell. The first of two 496-page, US$17.99 volumes will ship in October 2012, and the second will ship in January 2013.
For those interested or haven’t played this one yet, the most controversial couple in the Sono Hanabira series’ English patch was released today. Why did I only post this update here instead of all the other patches previously released? The reason is quite simple. to quote Eirc Bischoff, “Controversy creates cash”. I’ve been anticipating this episode’s English patch for a while because this couple has been hyped for having the deepest plot of all. I don’t know when the sequel (Episode 9) will be released but for now, expect a review of this game very soon. For those who have the game and are interested, enjoy. For those who haven’t, I think you know which two options there are available.

I’m going to do something weird with this post. Basically I’m promoting Panicker’s blog. This is a blog dedicated to LP’ing the Japan exclusive PS2 yur/shoujo-ai visual novel, “Strawberry Panic: Girls’ School in Full Bloom.” Think about it like this, you’ll get to play the game without having to import it. After all, the game doesn’t have an English patch and I’m not going to bother importing it either.
Right now the fans who visited the blog have chosen Kizuna as the protagonist to follow 1st. As to who the voters will choose for her to end up with…you’ll have to check in weekly to find out who they vote for…OR make a difference by casting your own votes. One last thing, it won’t be a youtube vid, instead it’ll be your basic blog post with images captured from the game with translations and player comments, you know like a regular LP except in still images. Well it’s a VN anyway so if you want music, use your own soundtrack.
