Filler post: KoF XIII becomes free on PSN. Why I dislike online shopping

You know, I’m getting really miffed with PSN right now. See, I bought DoA 5 and Tekken Tag 2 last Thursday, along with some PSN cards. The first game I bought online was KoF XIII, because Blu-Rays were sold out and I wasn’t in the mood to order online. For kicks, I also paid for a 3 month PS+ membership. Well, today, October 8th, it was announced that the game would be sold free of charge for PS+ members, 4 days after I bought it. This wasn
‘t the first time I got punked.

A couple of months ago, I did the same thing with the Sly Cooper collection and Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. Bought the 3 Sly games for 10 bucks each, didn’t have enough to buy VF5 Complete Edition for $30. Anyway, 3 days after the purchase, all 3 Sly games become free for a month for PS+ member and half off for regular shoppers.

Maybe it’s just rotten luck.

  1. That would be my luck, for sure.

  2. Fiers says:

Yeah, I know the feeling. In my case, it wasn’t that they were free, it was that they were half off a month after I bought them.

  3. Rincewind says:

That’s why I always wait to buy games in STEAM and get them at 75% or 60% off. Its awful when you buy something at 25% off and the next day is on sale at 75%. ><

  4. Rei says:

I know that fell man. It’s always like that.. I always pre-order PC games and after a few month they are like 10 to 20 dollars each which is rather cheap… And woot! Tomorrow Playstation All-Start beta access for the Vita. Also early access for PS3 users who has PS+

  5. Too poor to enjoy more fighting games atm
    Ah, i miss Kasumi/Mai/Emilie
