Snippettee's bonus anime interrogation questions

Snippy , the lovely lass, has posted her own set of questions, despite the anime interrogation carnival ending and I figured I’d answer them.

1. How did you come up with your online name?

As all my fans know, I like videogames. I like the Disgaea series which deals with a comical depiction of the Netherworld, or hell I suppose. I started off with the title of Emperor bu that’s mostly due to my not having a “kingdom” of my own yet. I stuck with it for a while until I remembered something. I created a fictional “kingdom” on Crunchyroll known as “The G-Empire” which is based on a fantasy I have. You see, I’ve always wanted to be the main antagonist of a JRPG or platformer and the G-Empire just so happens to be the semi-final level before my castle. Anyway, back to how I went from Emperor to Overlord. After the destruction of the first G-Empire for reasons I don’t want to mention, I eventually decided to make this blog and since it’s technically mine, promoted myself to supreme Overlord of the brand new G-Empire, still hoping to become a final boss someday.

2. If you only have one chance to recommend an anime what would it be and how would you convince your friend who’s new to anime to watch it.

Elfen Lied. Find a guy, tell him this show has a hot, sometimes naked girl with a split personality that usually slices enemies to pieces AND it’s uncensored. Oh, and the story’s pretty good too with its somewhat divine symbolism. Sold.

3. Name an anime in your backlog list that you would like to marathon now.

A top 5 would be more adequate.

#1: You’re Under Arrest

#2: Aria

#3: Nanoha Trilogy

#4: Hell Girl.

#5: Revolutionary Girl Utena. I already saw the movie but reviewing that is difficult for a non-editorial guy like myself.

4. List some of your favorite quotes (Catchphrases because I don’t have any fav quotes I can remember”) from anime?

#1: The Unlimited Blade Works Chant.

#3: “It’s Time for some Piracy.” Mouretsu Pirates.

Look, Patchouli is one my top 5 Touhou Girls but not enough to go all geeky and post 17 comments on this pic alone. Jeez, it’s like those guys have never seen a woman before.

5. What is the weirdest coincidence that you experienced lately?

I already spoke of it in this post but to sum it up, here.

After a class meeting ended, I went to visit a friend to go see Expendables 2. He’d already seen it and I just happened to mention the CWB. Out of nowhere, he remembered there was an autograph signing/meet and greet that was scheduled in 10 minutes. Best 2 hours under the merciless sunlight of my life.
