Fate works in mysterious ways ladies and gentlemen. It all began when I went to work on a college project and after that was done, I went to pay my other good buddy next to Chocokara, Jimmy at his workplace to ask if he wants to go see Expendables 2. He said he already saw it with other friends so that was a bummer. However, fate intervened. See, this weekend (September 7th to 9th) is the 2nd ever wrestling event in Aruba, the Caribbean Wrestling Bash. The last one was like 20 years ago and it had some random dudes. This time there are (Or were once this post becomes dated) well known wrestlers to late 80′s kids such as Jimmy and I. Jimmy remembered there being a meet and greet with some of the wrestlers and luckily we made just in time to get autographs and pictures taken with legends such as Jerry”The King” Lawler and Rowdy Roddy Piper. Other wrestlers included Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, Cody Hall (Son of Scott Hall/Razor Ramon) and even a masked wrestler from Curacao.
Too bad Big Poppa Pump and Kevin Nash weren’t there. Oh well.
Get ready to laugh at my expense.
Aw, c’mon Bas. At least Cody’s trying.
All in all, it was a great day. I do hope I’ll get to go to the CWB this Sunday. If so, maybe I’ll have a little surprise later. If not…this will be a cherished day.
