As usual when it comes to these picks, as the season progresses, I may end up picking other shows not mentioned on this list. For now, let’s take a look at what I’ll most definitely be watching. As for whether I’ll be making any episodics on these, we’ll see.
Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb (4): “OG is crying tears of joy right now” She will finally return to me, “cries some more”. Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Sukitte Ii na yo: If Chocokara and ONLY Chocokara ends up picking up one of these two shows and convinces me they’re worth my time, I’ll pick them up. Nobody else can convince me on shows I’m unsure of.
It’s a show entitled Psycho-Pass. PSYCHO-PASS! Cool.
To LOVE-Ru Darkness: You know, I reviewed To-Love-Ru a while back alongside Girls Bravo and called them my two favorite hetero harem shows. However, as time passed and while GB remains a personal favorite…TLR hasn’t aged well with me. While GB had an ending, TLR doesn’t (At least I don’t think it did). I got tired of seeing more and more girls drooling over a now official moron. Supposedly this sequel will center around Golden Darkness (The only girl besides Haruna who’s somewhat tolerable now) and two others. I’m not holding my breath on this sequel being any different as the new girls will probably end up drooling and accidentally stripping for Rito and I’ll end up dropping this turd that should probably have been put to rest years ago. Still, I’ll be 5% optimistic.
Girls and Panzer: A show about girls driving tanks. You bet your candy asses the OG Man’s interested.
Little Busters. It’s not just because it’s a KEY product and the so called, “best of the best”, it’s mainly due to the utterly ridiculous backlash from the self proclaimed hardcore fanboys. I was planning on making a rant post about the utter idiocy of their rage against a show that hasn’t even aired yet, but held back because it’d be summed up the same way I would sum up the fan rage against the upcoming Devil May Cry reboot: premature stupidity. I couldn’t care less which company picked this show up. It’s a show I’m interested in and that’s all that matters.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. My shounen action anime diet may finally be coming to an end.
Robotics;Notes. While I don’t like most mecha themed anime, the same can’t be said for shows or games involving robots. I have no idea what to expect but color me intrigued.
Sakurasou no pet na kanojo: Some person said it had similar vibes to another anime I REALLY liked, Mahoraba: Heartful Days. I guess it has that going for it. Otherwise, it could be a neat show.
Seitokai no Ichizon 2: For the love of all that is good on this planet, please make Key-kun’s amount of suffering astronomical. The less boring 5 minute obligatory “we love Key-kun deep down” scenes near the end of every episode, the better.
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!: Another show starring a girl with an eyepatch…fine…

There are other shows I haven’t mentioned such as Code;Breaker and something about Magi, but I don’t have enough data to confirm them being worth my time yet.

Medaka Box 2 is inevitable. I don’t dislike her as much as many other do.

I don’t expect much from TLR 3 but SnI 2 will hopefully deliver.
Going to watch TLR Darkness, Girls and Panzer, Eyepatch, LittleBusters (and I completely agree with you on that), Koko, Robotics, and not sure about the others. I suppose I’ll end up picking up one or two of them but all the other sequels I haven’t seen the originals. Also, Girls Bravo was indeed among the greatest harems ever, if not the best.
GB has a distinct charm to it. Maybe you could say it’s thanks to awesome chcracters like the Fukuyama siblings (Kazuharu especially) and Kosame. Or maybe it’s due to Yukinari being a brave wimp who didn’t need superpowers. It’s hard to say really but it is indeed one of the best. Some hardcore otaku would say Tenchi Muyo’s the best but personally I didn’t like the girls that much. Also I hate Tenchi’s guts.
I recommend giving SnI a try. Hidamari Sketch is an acquired taste as you have to be a Girls Club type Slice of Life fan to enjoy.

Mmmmh… like the past season, this one has only very few titles that interest me. Well, lately my anime watching time was severely reduced so I guess that its fine. I hate my job, by the way. =P
Anyways, my picks for the season are:
- Girls and Panzers – Because GIRLS and PANZERS!! And no male lead in sight, a plus. =D
- Little Busters – Because KEY. Key always deliver!! And yes, I was expecting to KyoAni to animate this one. I mean, AIr, Kanon and Clannad are masterpieces. Not good, masterpieces.
Well, at least its not TOEI, so no Jay Leno’s chin this time. =D
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure – Because… ORAORAORAORA!!!
Hidamari, Im about to start the first season… Yeah, a bit late.
And maybe, Robotic Notes.
Hainai Nanafa and Teekyu! are a big mistery.

Im watching only a series, Yuru Yuri 2 this season, and I watched episodes 9 and 10 this weekend.

Sentai has just licensed both Hidamari Sketch X Honeycomb (as expected) and Girls und Panzers (which surprised me). Hopefully the DVD’s will be out mid 2013.
Tank Girls will rule.
