So we have Polka’s current main story being the independent choir club, we had Bob and his decision to continue badminton while also being in the ICC, Juanita and her mom issues and recently Simba’s feud with Baka Papa and those bastards at Jockey High. Given my poor math, that would mean there’s one person left to have an obligatory drama 2-parter (Or maybe 3). Let’s find out how Enrique, the comedy relief of the show, will fare as a dramatic actor.
You know, I have a soft spot for the pre-Mystic Force season Power Rangers. On occasion, I go back and watch classic episodes of Mighty Morphin and Time Force. Granted, I’m not hardcore enough to check out the Sentai franchise but I reckon it’s better. Anyway, throughout the show, we’ve seen Enrique talking and writing letters to his possibly special penpal who owns E’s Red Ranger figure. I REALLY hope this 2-parter isn’t going where I think it is.
I repeat, writers, DO NOT GO THERE!
You know, leave it to anime to make breakfast time interesting. I’d also like to mention that Tari Tari’s the first anime in a while where a father is getting more screen time than a mother…and he’s actually considered an important character, sort of. Bravo. It’s nice to see an active dad outside of action shows. Anyway Juanita’s asking dad for any hints on Mom’s songwriting style. Dad only listens, which luckily for me means you don’t have to be good at the exact same thing a woman is in order to win her heart. Cheer me on when that day comes doods!
So Polka wants to organize a musical drama but of course the club doesn’t have the money for it. Still, Polka’s persistent. Enrique’s mind is elsewhere.
Next scene, local committee has money issues so they want to spice things up. Shiho suggests the Power Rangers. Notice the PR picture above and you can easily figure out where this is going. Juanita continues talking about figuring out mom’s writing style.
This request also happens to reawaken Enrique’s passion to be fun.
Wow, Juanita really is the main character after all. Even when it’s supposed to be Enrique’s time, she still gets the most screen time. You have taught your daughter well Shiho, you oh so fine mom you.
Polka, you like gossiping too much.
Leave it to Polka to have the best Ranger pose. Enrique’s in serious hero mode. He spills the beans about his penpal.
Thankfully it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. Long story short, Jan, the penpal, probably moved to a new address.
Something big will happen very soon as sexy vice principal wasn’t her usual grouchy self today and easily allowed the Polka Gang to go through with their Ranger side job. Maybe we’ll find out next week what all the hullabaloo is.
I’ll admit, this TT post wasn’t as spectacular as my previous one but posts like those only happen when I’m emotionally pumped.

I don’t wanna think about it, but I think it’s pretty obvious pen-pal kid bit the big one. Also, I notice you finally stopped referring to Wakana as “Poo-Poo”.
Nah. The writers wouldn’t be THAT retarded. If they were, I’d toss them out on the street.
Inconsistency FTW! Seriously, she hasn’t done any annoying things since turning face so she’s earned the title of not Poo Poo anymore. She’s Juanita now.
