So we kick things off with Poo Poo catching a cold after looking for her kitty. The picture above, besides conveying my anger towards Poo Poo, shows Polka concerned for Poo Poo so she pays her a visit. She isn’t home.
Polka sees her near an ocean ledge and fears the worst but thankfully Poo Poo doesn’t completely lack common sense.
The same can’t be said for Polka.
They go home and Polka tells PP it’s alright she didn’t keep her promise with mom because it’s a treasured memory, or something like that.
No writers. You aren’t going to convince me to feel less angry at Poo Poo just because Matutu is also currently upset with her dad. This is different. He opposes Matutu’s dream of becoming a pro equestrian and prefers she get a desk job. I say if Matutu has a dream/talent and she’s so good that she can become a badass, go for it! Who knows? Maybe she can go to Rio in 4 years. Also, PP riding a horse isn’t as epic as Matutu doing so.

Much respect to Bob and Enrique for their determination to not let the choir down.
Seriously Poo Poo. You had an important exam. The last thing a mom would want is to worry their child during an important period like that. It’s what moms who love their children do. However, this still doesn’t excuse your reprehensible behavior. I can somewhat understand if it were a parent like Matutu’s, but your mom didn’t do anything to upset you, even till in last moments. Oh, and mom didn’t want the special song she promised to help Poo Poo with to be one filled with sadness, but one of strength and optimism. That’s why she didn’t want dad to tell PP.
Like I said last week:
A: The person we feel most sorry for is mom.
B: The moral is that some people don’t realize how lucky they are till it’s too late.
Well what do you know? Dad knew exactly what to do. He didn’t get rid of anything PP wanted thrown away because he knew she would regret it.
Besides the fact Poo Poo FINALLY joins the party for real, I forgot to mention Matutu’s MILF, Shiho, was in Mama’s class and she had a tape cassette of their choir singing the school song. That’s what they’re doing here.
Okay, now that that’s done and over with, what’s coming up next week? “Sees the preview”….DAMN IT ALL!

I’d love to agree with you again…but I can’t. My opinion of Wakana actually improved a lot this episode.
I have a feeling that if even you can let bygones be bygones with Poo Poo, others will too. Matve I’ll cut her some slack and say she’s suffered enough if more people post that they forgive her.
After watching this episode I can take back my comment of saying how spineless PP’s father acted. I’m glad he showed a form of tough love by taking those precious items and storing them so she’d believe they were gone and come to the realization of her feelings on her own. She still doesn’t get much pity from me from how she acted towards her mother.
I’m hoping that Matutu does follow her own dream of being an equestrian, that’d be a very positive note for the show. When I saw how Enrique and Bob were practicing for the choir group I couldn’t help but laugh. Honestly, who wouldn’t laugh after seeing them like that? Hopefully now that we’re passed the “feel sorry for PP” episodes the show will pick up and get a bit better.
Yeah, dad’s got my respect after his clever strategy to get PP to come to her senses. Hmm, maybe I should cut PP some slack…maybe.
I’m happy that you’re playing along with my nicknames Miss Foxy. Either that or it’s because I’m addressing the characters with those nicknames and you don’t want to confuse me.
Yes. Now that the obligatory drama is settled, it’s time to refocus on the choir competition.
I find the nickname’s amusing and for me they’re easier to remember when i’m only half awake when I type my replies sometimes. Beats me having to go look up what the character name is especially if i don’t really like a specific one, I tend not to memorize their name.
You’re right about that dood. Besides it being one of my quirks, I give characters nicknames when I don’t feel like remembering their real ones.
