Hyperdimension Neptunia V Battle Trailer

Black Heart in a good mood is a major turn on for me.

Let’s see what more this battle trailer reveals about Neptunia V. The CPU Candidates will indeed return but whether they’ll be playable or just assist characters remains to be seen. During Purple Heart’s X-Blade special, we see she uses it on what appears to be CFW Judge. Pirachu will also return.

The battle system itself looks like it’ll be similar to Neptunia 1 with the partner system from Mk2 getting some additional tweaks. Also, team specials will involve more than two characters, such as the all out attack that will obviously inflict tons of damage but cost a ton of SP/AP to execute. Did I already mention how sexier Black Heart is in this game? I did? Well she is. Iris Heart (Both forms) also looks interesting with Pururut having a voodoo doll special and we already know Iris Heart’s dominatrix attitude.

Well, I’m even more hyped than I already was for this game and hope it’ll contain as much yuri subtext and canon as the prequels did. The game is set for an August 30th JP release and probably late February in the West.

  1. I love the character designs in Neptunia, but alas I have no PS3 to play this on. I think if I do get one I’ll buy the Neptunia trilogy to start out though. The idea of console wars in cute mecha musume form has interested me since the first game was announced. But I’m very, very behind on owning actual consoles to play games on, having succumbed to online-gaming via PC more than anything over the last 6 years.
