Tari Tari episode 4: Being a hardcore fan isn’t healthy.

If yu were to answer the question “What makes the OGMan happy?” by answering a flashback featuring an attractive woman in her youth riding a horse, you’d be right.

Those watching the show will remember these two from last week while Polka, Matutu and Bob were practicing their song for the competition. They’re two members of the Condor Queens, who I think only sing Spanish songs. They’re three guys so you can guess who the third member is.

Kid Polka watching the Condor Queens. Yeah, she knows who they are.

Sadly I don’t get to see Matutu’s lower bikini half but a skirt’s fine. Hey, I can be pervy too. SUE ME!

Anyway, Polka decides to drop out of the contest and would rather see Condor Queens perform instead.

Enrique sees the “stalker” chasing Poo Poo, stops him, and then proceed to tell Poo Poo (In Japanese) that he knew her mom. Even I don’t talk my native language while excited when speaking to a foreigner. Pointless, but Poo Poo was in trouble so I’ll let it pass.

Of course Matutu is not at all pleased with Polka going all fangirl over some old dudes, thus wasting their time.

You know what I like as much as a hot chick riding a horse, a fat cat. Oh, and the CQ reminisce of Mama Poo Poo’s awesomeness and mourn her loss. Poo Poo esta triste ahora.

Pics speak for themselves.

I like animals, even those that can kill me. A piglet named Poem, THIS..IS…CUTENESS!

Polka cancels a scheduled practice to see CQ perform again. Matutu, being the awesome hottie she is, naturally gets pissed and threatens to quit the choir, sending a warning to Polka to get her ass into gear. Why is Polka the main character again? Oh yeah, because she gets into trouble a lot.

By the way, if you’re all wondering why I have yet to post a picture of Shiho, especially in her surf suit last week, it’s because it’d be too predictable for me to post yet another sexy adult ass shot. Another fun fact about me, Mamiko Noto is my second favorite seiyuu of all time next to Aoi Yuuki. MN, fav veteran, AY, fav newcomer.

Of course I can;t mention MN without referencing the first and personal fav role of hers in Shimako from Maria-sama ga Miteru. She’s played hundreds of other great roles but for now, Shiho and the protagonist from Arcana Famiglia are the ones I’m aware of this season. There’s probably more but I’ll check later.

Is that the same flower shop from Natsuyuki Rendezvous? Course not but it would have been cool if it were.

Back on topic, Polka regrets being a fangirl and goes turbo looking for nother stage to perform due to CQ not giving up theirs. Poo Poo helps her find one, but Polka still doesn’t have an answer to her question from episode 1. Poo Poo says she won’t sing because she sucks. Yeah, right. They’re siskis now.

Although I’m not a Poo Poo fan, I never said she was ugly.

Matutu looks good in Hawaiian. I know, same top but I have a thing with women and swimsuits. Long story short, they’re sexier in swimsuits than naked. Props to Enrique’s Hawaiian look as well.

Damn it, Polka was ready for it this time. Well, Shiho did spank her earlier. I do hope this won’t be the end of Matutu spanking Polka. It’s the closest thing we get to yuri subtext from this show, as small as it is.

“El sonar del corazon tambien es musica” “The sound of the heart/heartbeat is also music.” Not bad Mr Latino.

Also, I’m happy Matutu danced the hula.

Oh, and Poo Poo got a letter from mom CQ conveniently saved for this occasion.

  1. Now, if Poo-Poo will just drop the mopey act, and start singing with the others, this show will get more awesome. Also, those old dudes were cool.

I think Poo Poo’s moping will drag for a while longer. After all, her mom IS one of the show’s main plot points. I’m betting by episode 7, or hopefully next week, Poo Poo will finally be ready to sing.
