Yurin Yurin opened its website at midnight Japan time on 21 July 2012. The site is twofold: one for Yurin Yurin itself, and another for their first release: Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo – Michael no Otome-tachi (その花びらにくちづけを ミカエルの乙女たち). Proxy pass-through is not required for either of these pages for images to load, as is the case with Fuguriya’s website. The site for the new release is not a single page, as with Fuguriya’s works; this new visual novel is much larger than anything Fuguriya has produced.
The new characters seen above are Azumi Risa 安曇璃紗 (left) and Ayase Miya 綾瀬美夜 (right).
Also, everyone’s favorite couples from the series will also make appearances. With this being the series’ “biggest game yet”, could that mean “MadoHomu” aren’t the only ones who will get some action?
My thoughts: After Hanabira 10 (or ErisxShizuku 2) I suspected there would be three possibilities as to what the next game in the franchise would be:
1: A Hanahira sequel.
2: The original 5 couples in college (or high school for Ruuna).
3: A new couple.
The answer ended up being a hybrid of 2 and 3. A “crossover” between Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Sono Hanabira sounds pretty awesome to me. It’ll give us something to satiate our appetites before the 1st in the Madoka movie trilogy premieres. I also think it’s awesome that nearly everyone joined the student council along with Yuuna, Nanami and Kaede (Don’t correct me if I’m wrong. It’s irrelevant).
According to the report, Sono Hanabira 11 is expected to be released on October 26th. Look forward to it. As for English translations…when the cows come home.

Wow, nice reference to Madoka. I think I’m excited for this one because they looked super cute and lovely. I also liked their body figures because they looked “normal” and proportionate.
But the only thing I don’t like is the waiting for the translations. The anticipation is so… sigh.
Indeed. Despite both episodes 6 and 8 translated scripts being finished, the editing is sure taking a while.
You know what? You’re absolutely right! The norm has always been big and small chests but this couple (Hanahira not included) could very well be the very first couple whose physical proportions are evenly matched.
I suppose we can somehow get our hands on this episode and enjoy the RAWs for both communication and …other reasons.
Yeah, lol I’m quite particular with the body figure… I don’t really consider Yuuna x Nanami having proportionate figure but they’re okay.
I deliberately skipped Hanahira because I’m not into lolis, but on this new couple I’m also looking forward checking the raws.
Come now Snippy, you know I was mainly talking about breast sizes. Besides, Eris and Shizuku have the best bodies from top to bottom. I won’t mind if you say Mai but as you’ll find out when my Hanabira series review project starts (eventually), I’m not like the mainstream when it comes to Hanabira.
I have Hanahira but from what I’ve heard, it’s like Lucky Star and Yuru Yuri Lite, meaning no love scenes. I’m still waiting for the translation. There is a group shower and kiss scene (I think) but no love making.
Of course we’re on the same page. I do noticed that you’re talking about breast sizes. I’m not really into big juggling breasts, that’s why of all the characters I like Sarah. Sometimes Mai is okay for me but there are times that her breasts look so big for her. So yeah, hopefully this is the start of creating characters with more realistic looking bodies.
Btw. good luck on your review Hanabira project. Sure it’s going to be entertaining.
Ah, the internet. The only place where a guy can comfortably talk about animated lesbians and breast sizes with a woman. Life’s both cool and weird like that sometimes. Hopefully my future empress will be as easygoing as you are Snippy, though I think I’ll have to look outside of the Caribbean.
Well, why stop there? Have I ever told you how much I admire Sara’s derriere? I strongly believe that of all anime girls I’ve seen in my life, Sara has the best drawn tushie of all time.
The very first thing that popped into my mind the moment the very top picture loaded, even before I scrolled down was “That’s Madoka and Homura!”
Now I’m thinking this game is what would have happened if Madoka had the end the Kannazuki no Miko manga had. Either that or if Madoka and Homura had kids. (Same hair style but an eye color swap. Science Babies?)
Also is it just me or is Miya channeling Chikane in the third picture?

Hmm, maybe. I didn’t read the manga so I went the reincarnation from the anime as a reason for them to be reborn in that universe. Considering Madoka’s a goddess, it wouldn’t be surprising she and Homura had children when Homura’s time to see Madoka again finally came.
How is she channeling Chikane? Don’t you mean Himeko?
While I’m thrilled that a new couple’s coming out, let’s bear in mind that this means that Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke Wo takes place in the same universe as Madoka.

Indeed. That’s why this “crossover” will be a most interesting one.
I just hope that dirtbag Kyubey gives the rest of the cast a VERY wide berth.
By the way, where did you get the crossover pairing pics? (Yuuna/Mai, Sarah/Eris, Kaede/Shizuku) They’ve piqued my interest.
