And so the journey into the show that many perceive as a Hanasaku clone begins. Being who I am, the fact it may be a clone doesn’t interest. What I care about is whether it’ll retain my attention.
Let’s take a look at Tari Tari episode 1.
I like the chick on the left (Matutu). The one on the right (Polka) will hopefully be the main character. Because if it’s Poo Poo, I’ll be miffed.
Hmm, from what I’ve gathered after watching the 1st episode is that the story’s about Polka in her last year of high school who isn’t allowed to sing in the preppy choir club thing because of a strict bitchy teacher. So she decides to form her own choir.
I’ll call the dude in black Enrique and the one on the right Bob. So Enrique’s a dood who returned to Japan after living 12 years in Austria and is trying hard to “replant his roots” shall we say. Bob’s just the 2nd main dood for now.
The picture above is all you need to know right now as to why Matutu is currently the girl I have the most interest in. She’s also in the archery club but more important is that she has a horsie.
Lastly we have the girl I’m the least interested in, Poo Poo. Oh look at me, I’m a stereotypical grouch who probably experienced something horrible in the past that forced me to stop wanting to sing and I’ll probably end up with a boyfriend because the teacher wants me to get a guy for some reason. I’ll probably be in a love triangle with Enrique and Bob.
That’s it. Will I cover this show weekly? It depends on what will happen next. If nothing of interest comes up, I’ll just review it once it ends.
Poo Poo’s type of characters get on my nerves a lot too and you might guess how I scrubbed through her scenes like no body’s biatch!
Matutu is my favourite as well though it could have been Polka because of her being in heat and attacking Matutu every chance she gets but since she has the flags of turning into a stupid straight character, I will go for Matutu thank you very much.
Will be tuning in for more Matutu too. And it looks like she’s gonna be playing hero next episode so looking forward to the caps.
You have every right to skip Poo Poo segments. I REALLY hope they reveal what’s up her ass and she can turn face as quickly as possible.
I’m still holding on that Poo Poo will be the only one with a boyfriend by the end, however, as long as Matutu remains single or continues being leeching on Polka, I’m fine.
