Another episode 0: Twin Magic. Blessing or curse?

I really don’t like the Bella Twins, but…

I’m so glad they’re recently fired. As for another 0. It’s better than Denpa Onna 13. I’ll never forgive the writers for giving Meme only FIIIIIIIVE SEEEEECOOOOONNNDS of screen time! Curse you!

By the way, expect me to use the word “Maybe” or speculate a lot in this episode. Lastly, super mega spoilerific.

Mei is more quiet and Misaki’s energetic, just like ROM and RAM here.

I’m guessing this takes place during one of the occasions where the twins snuck out to chill together.

So we kick off with Misaki being hit on by a guy and she talks about the Doppelganger myth (If you see one next to the original, you’re dead). Her twin sense was correct as Mei showed up at that exact moment, much to Misaki’s amusement.

Interesting conversation they’re having while shopping. It’s like every compliment is not only directed at each other, but themselves as well. It makes me wonder whether a bond between twins truly is a tight one, as if they’re both one. Cool.

Of course Misaki has to like the damaged elephant over the adorable panda. I’m guessing it’s a “cute on the inside” type deal.

Let’s see here: Degree of relationship refers to the number of participating entities in a relationship. Either that or in the familial sense it refers to the family tree chart, where grandparents and siblings have a similar degree. Hmm. Oh, and the twins arranged a get-together at Mei’s after telling Misaki her mom will be away for a while.

It’s been a while since I used this joke so…

Yup, the symbolism dolls are back with a vengeance, still as pointless as they were in the main show…or maybe not. Who knows? Oh, and Misaki teases Mei about boys.

Ah, here we have the separation (or switched. Same thing to me) at birth talk. For those who have seen the show, I don’t need to go into details about what happened.

Ah, twincest. Ya gotta love the yuri classics. Too bad, Misaki’s got a boy crush. Oh well.

There it is. Doom Vision, activate. I guess Misaki’s own eyepatch blocked Mei’s foresight earlier but now…

The girls end up going to an Amusement Park the next day…

This entire episode is bringing back Winter memories of jokes I’ve used.

Okay, this part was funny. So Mei’ obviously become super cautious after last night’s Doom vision.

This is what nearly a decade of experience does for a fan like myself. Can you guess why I posted this image?

Misaki figures out why Mei’s being overprotective and they reference the “extra” crap that the main series centered around.

Seriously, a suicidal hawk? are you kidding me?

OG NO BAKA! There’s still 6 1/2 minutes to go.

Cancer…CANCER!? Leukemia to be exact, but still, CANCER!? Ugh…fine.

Uhhh, should I use this joke for this scene as well? Whatever.

Oh so that’s why they used the torn elephant. To emphasize the purpose of this doll Misaki liked.

The rest is history.
