Anarchy Reigns Delayed in the West, but not Japan

When will it end Japan. WHEN WILL IT END!? Why do you continue doing this to me time and time AND TIME AGAIN!? You have made Cubchoo angry. You won’t like him when he’s angry.

Today, Platinum games has revealed that Anarchy Reigns, the upcoming beat-em-up that stars characters from Madworld and Bayonetta, will be delayed…in North America and Europe. Japan however, will receive the game on July 5th, despite the game being ready for a worldwide release.

As said on Platinum Games’ blog, “While our work on the game is finished, localized, and ready to go, as publisher, SEGA gets to make the final decision as to when it is released.” However, it should be noted that the game is not cancelled, its release date just needs to be confirmed. As said by a Platinum Games representative: “In the West, Sega is looking for the best time to put it out. It will still be out in July, There will still be ways for you to get it if you know where to go. We’re still 100 per cent behind the game and we still want to connect with you and play with you and have a good time. So let’s make sure that happens no matter what bad news we get.”

Well, this is the closest we’re getting to a Bayonetta (After reading a strong rumor of Bayonetta 2 being cancelled) and Madworld 2 so it’s worth the wait…just don’t push you luck Sega. You’re lucky I’ll be entertained by Virtua Fighter 5: final showdown in the meantime. Sonic 4.2 can only occupy me for so long. you got lucky Sega, you got lucky.
