May 26th will see the return of Toonami as an actual programming block, the first time since 2008 that it has been a presence on US television. What the block will actually air besides Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is unknown as of right now, but hopefully some more light will be shone on the upcoming revival tonight at the Adult Swim upfront. Hopefully some new shows will be included.
For all North American animeniacs and anyone else who owns Cartoon Network US on their cable provider, this is great news indeed. For me, who doesn’t, I’m glad TOM has his old job back for good this time and not a one night only deal.

I remember thinking CN should have never pulled the plug on Toonami, even when it wasn’t doing as great as it used to (and was on Sat). Let’s hope they never do something that dumb again.
I wouldn’t know. I didn’t notice Toonami’s demise till 2010.
