Bodacious Pirates episode 19: Bonds

Break episode but since it’s from a show like this, it’s still enjoyable.

Talking about fate and pie.

Here we have the Serenity sisters having some lunch while Grunhilde shows a sign of jealousy as Gruier talks about her precious bond with Marika’s “parfait” and how she’ll soon be feasting on her creamy innards.

Gruier: Soon, very soon, she’ll be all mine.

Poo.

Collecting garbage, gravity on. Moving garbage, gravity off.

Marika scores a STRIKE with Operation Dust G.

As those who watched the episode noticed, Marika’s pooped from her latest yurirific adventure and can barely stay awake. She even lets her enga- I mean, ID ring fall out of her pocket and someone picks it up.

Ai, future speed demon.

I bet 1000000 bucks Ecchi Catgirl will do her utmost best to DENY squeeing loud enough for all of Europe to hear when Ai said the word Dinghy. You’ll try EC, but I know how much you can’t resist cuteness.

Yes Luca-san, rub that orb. Train hard rubbing it because very soon, it’ll be my fluffy head you’ll be rubbing ma belle plum. Oh, and the crew help Marika look for the ring on their ship.

Oh Sasha, you never cease to make my heart skip a beat.

I can be badass too doods. Grunhilde found the ring.

Gruier: Bad parfait. You lost our engagement ring, but I’ll forgive you because I love you. And Grunhilde. If you wanted to share my pie, all you had to do was ask.

Grunhilde: Yes onee-sama. I’ll happily indulge myself in your sweet pastry later tonight and every time you want to go adventuring with Marika. That’s a promise.

If I were an anime character, I’d most likely be similar to this guy right here. Respect the plushies my brother!

All’s well that ends well. Oh wait, I forgot something important.

I don’t know about Miss AJ but when I saw Blaster Ririka with that smirk on her face, my Holy Moses grew 3 sizes that day. Anyway, Marika really likes mom’s pot-a-feu. Mom said it was time for Marika to start cooking her own. Marika asked mom to teach her how in which she answered that’s “in your blood” to know how to cook it.

Later it turned out to be a clue to the secret family recipe.

Next week, EC’s favorite shows the world just how good she is at piloting.

my, my, MY! bonded by fate, that was so romantic!!! jajaja guier is so close to win!!!! chiaki come back!!!!!!

    • Overlord-G says:

Gruier was blown away by Chiaki’s previous attack so as usual she countered with a massive blow by pinpointing Marika’s weak spots. Brilliant move. The battle for the parfait continues heating up week after week.

  2. I won’t deny Squeeing, but not when she said Dinghy. Her sigh when she docked the ship was so much cuter. I wonder if I was loud enough for Europe. So you were close, but wrong. I’ll let you keep your money :P

Special mention goes to Grunhilde and her cute blush.

And next week is going to be awesome.

    • Overlord-G says:

The point is you still squee’d loud enough for all of Europe to hear so I was half right at least.
Grunhilde’s blush was okay but not as grand as Puppy Cap’s drooling over the Dinghy.

  3. Stevie Nix says:

Marika, Gruier, and Grunhilde bound by fate, with some helping by Marika’s father.

Loved Grunhilde’s expression when Gruier told her she wouldn’t leave her behind. Also Ai’s joy over finding the dinghy made me laugh.

So the next arc will be focus on the Yacht Club again? Heh, I can’t wait! Hopefully Chiaki will transfer back in again soon.

    • Overlord-G says:

By now a season 2 would be nice since this show (Spoiler alert) has a perfect G-Rating already. It’ll be tough to explian why though but I’m working on it.
Anyway, pies and parfait for everyone!
