Queen’s Blade Rebellion episodes 1+2 initial impressions

Well it’s finally here doods and peeps. My initial impressions of the gloriously misunderstood greatest ecchimania show ever’s 4th season, Queen’s Blade Rebellion. Of course with this being QB, expect uncensored pics. Unless you’re sensitive/allergic to 2D boobs or don’t like this series at all, the exit’s that way.

BTW, if you haven’t Queen’s Blade up to this point, there will be minor spoilers, especially for the two prologue OVAs. or facts that will only make sense if you’ve seen the prequels.

Instead of talking about the plot, I’ll sum it up in short. Claudette is the new queen of the world and she abolished the Queen’s Blade tournament and for a while it was peaceful for the most part. However, signs of a total global conquest campaign are present and it looks like the queen’s army is secretly plotting a global dictatorship of sorts. Now the main question is whether the brave warriors (The veterans who’ll return anyway) still believe in a peaceful world without a god figure to rule over all, or will they stand back and do nothing as Claudette’s cronies enslave the planet? If that’s the case, it’s up to Annelotte and her posse to take the queen and anyone who stands in their way down!

There you go. That’s the plot in a nutshell. Now let’s talk about the characters who have appeared so far.

Episode 1 characters:

We kick things off immediately with the introduction of Ghost Pirate Liliana and her undead crew raiding a village when suddenly..

So here we have Annelotte, the new main character replacing Leina as the wandering warrior babe of justice and I already like her more than her predecessor since her debut in the 2 part OVA prologue that preceded this show where she received valuable training under the always badass Coach Alleyne. Unlike Leina, Annelotte knows exactly what she’s fighting for and needs not spend the 1st half of the 1st season figuring that out.

Oh and she also has a shadow horsy that comes out of her necklace when she’s in a pinch.

Huit (8 the elf) and Vingt (20 the robot). Huit is also a defender of justice (Or rather her village) and Vingt is her kickass robot maid who as you can see grows taller and has rocket arms as weapons aside from her super strength and quick reflexes. Their job, aside from the local news, was to protect a sacred stone until…

Yes, Ymir the dwarf is back and is currently employed as the queen’s main blacksmith as was seen in episode 2 of the prologue OVAs. Heh, from a wandering blacksmith with a big axe who was trying hard to sell her merchandise by performing in combat, to the one of Claudette’s top dogs. She’s certainly come a long way. She also seems to have her own agenda and assistant as we see in the episode 2. She captures both the sacred stone and Mirim. I’m curious as to what she’s planning. She’s also become much more serious this time as a seemingly neutral general.

Some enslaved coliseum gladiator fighting giant slimy geckos and owned by some midget goblin or whatever. From what I’ve seen in the credits, she’ll be back to confront Annelotte later.

Some erotic evil medium with snake whips and a dildo (Reminds me of the one Dark queen Aldra had). not much on her so far but we’ll see her face off with Annelotte in episode 3.

There’s something special about Mirim due to her not being hurt when touching the sacred stone that’s supposed to be harmful to humans. She’s currently with Ymir for possible experiments.

Yup, Elina’s back as one of Claudette’s top dogs and is evil now. How has she changed since season 3 where her family estate was taken over and is now a heel? Not one bit. Elina’s always been a bratty incestuous bitch with a superiority complex and is no different now. As much as I dislike her usual self, I do get a kick when she fantasizes about her older sister Leina. Heck she’s even fallen for Claudette and masturbates while fantasizing about threesomes.

Episode 2:

A buffed up babe who looks like a Blonde Wonder Woman with a horny squid whose only there for tentacle rape (Yes, it’s still there). Dunno if she’ll return later. Pwns other chicks till Annelotte comes and quickly beats her.

Ymir’s assistant. One more shortie to look at I guess.

Lastly there’s Siggy…where do I begin? She’s a super religious nun and apprentice to one Priestess Melpha, expert at the holy art of the Sacred Poses of Righteousness. However, unlike her teacher, Siggy is fully capable of defending herself without relying heavily on her Sacred Poses. Besides, Siggy’s heal while Melpha’s hurt enemies. Anyway, back to her super religiousness, she’s so devoted to the Lord that anyone caught remotely committing sin, will be burned alive by her shadow flames of righteousness. For example, if I were to be seen by Siggy right now, I’d be burned alive. Basically in her mind, God’s way is absolute and you should live to serve him without ever committing sin, meaning have no right to think for yourself. Umm, Siggy, just because you’re a “servant of the lord” doesn’t give you the right to purge all sin across the land just because you’re one of the queen’s inquisitors. I could go on and on but let’s just say when Annelotte opposed Siggy’s demand for her to surrender her freedom to become a servant of God, I supported her refusal. I suspect she’ll eventually realize her way of spreading the word of God is wrong and turn face.

Now look, I’m a Christian (Believe it or not) and I’ve been taught the words of God since birth and I’m thankful to have been born way past the Middle Ages where religion felt more like a political, manipulative cult/slavery (Sometimes it was taught right) rather than righteous servitude but I don’t feel like ranting about religion again, especially in a Queen’s Blade post.

Sacred Pose training.

Servant of the Lord right here doods.

So there you have it. Expect me to make another character analysis after episode 4 and see what the other newcomers are like and how the returning veterans have changed. The show so far is still ecchi, borderline hentai and gloriously misunderstood as usual but that’s why I love it and declare it the best Ecchimania show ever!

This should definitely satiate your thirst for gorgeous 2D babes nicely should you choose to continue. However, if you’re neither a QB fan, nor have seen the previous seasons, I don’t recommend picking this one just yet.
