Objective content: Intense. 4 episodes (1, 3, 5 and 10) were banned from TV broadcast due to how lewd they were. They’re mildly nasty in content but PG-13 at most.

Plot summary: The TV anime series Gokujyo. is produced by CAMMOT and animated by LMD (as a series of shorts), based on Maya Miyazaki “silly, slightly risque” comedy manga, set in the halls of a high school girls’ dormitory where there are no rules and anything goes. A beautiful girl named Minami Kurihashi transfer to the girls’ high school Gokurakuin (“Gokujyo”) from Los Angeles, and she plans to rule Gokujyo with her cuteness as her weapon. However, a girl named Aya Akabane confounds Minami’s plans on her first day there, and Minami deals with the unpredictable life on this campus.

What can I say about this show? Not much really, other than it’s a dirty, tasteless comedy that has yuri in it. All it is is the misadventures of one Aya Akabane and her so called group of “friends”, and I use that term loosely, to show off why she’s the sexiest and coolest girl on campus, when she just comes off as a bossy, annoying grouch with a heart of gold. In short, an annoying tsundere. This show, is infamous for having 4 episodes that are so dirty, they were streamed online due to how disturbing some of its content is and, for the most part, they made the right decision. In case you’re curious, the episodes are 1,3,5 and 10. I personally think 5 is the best and 10 is the worst.

The show, to its credit, also made me ponder something while watching certain episodes. I wondered whether Gokujyo was secretly both a yuri harem and a show about a woman unknowingly, yet slowly becoming a lesbian, or she’s subconsciously a lesbian. Either that or I’m giving this show too much credit…probably the latter.

Both the animation and sound are okay at best. They’re certainly nothing to write home about.

Characters:

Aya Akabane

The main protagonist, a loud mouthed girl with an eye for looking sexy and a short fuse. A girl who tries way too hard to be cool but just comes off a show off with very few positive traits.

Asuka Utsunomiya (Short, purple hair.)

A mysterious girl who often talks about spiritual phenomenom. She appears to be romantically interested in Aya. My favorite character for obvious reasons. she’s quiet, to the point and most of all “hungry”.

Madoka Oowada (Megane babe)

A wildly perverted girl who has various fantasies and constant nosebleeds. 2nd favorite character for both her body and amusing nature.

Minami Kurihashi (Pink hair)

A transfer student who looks down on others, often calling them ‘potato girls’. 3rd favorite because she’s an ojou-sama and I love me some ojou-sama.

Oh, speaking of Minami…she has a toothbrush fetish. Why?

THAT…IS HOW YOU USE A TOOTHBRUSH (electric in Minami’s case) EROTICALLY, NOT THE WAY NISEMONOGATARI CLAIMS!

As for everyone else, the readhead (Aya’s older sister), I like her for her sexiness but other than that she’s not very amusing to me.

In conclusion: The show’s kinda meh and I only recommend it to those who are curious or have and hour and a half to spare. It’s short but I can see people immediately being turned off by its crude humor. I’m used to it so it didn’t affect me much.
