An episode dedicated to the Alien Pretty Boys had to happen sooner or later. Whatever, let’s check out #9.
This week will lack pictures because I’m both busy and there is only ONE important fact that needs to be shared.
Anyway, the episode’s main focus is to for some reason, have the Madoka’s allies tell the pretty boys about her depressed past self and how onee-chan inspired her to become a badass after her mother died.
What else…Hologram guy is coming to Earth to retrieve the Vox and Villagiulio plans to destroy them before his forces arrive. BTW, he sucks at “Hula Hula Revolution.”
However, what’s most important of all is Lan STILL BARKS! Sadly not as energetic as usual cause she doesn’t like seeing her spouse down in the dumps. Madoka continues looking good and being a defender of justice and Cherry’s still cheerful and equally worried for her girlfriend.
Also if you’re expecting me to address a certain scene where APB #2 is involved in a misunderstanding due part to Madoka’s classmates, I’m not worried about what was said. This kind of stuff happens all the time in anime.
Looks like next week will be another emotional episode…I made a promise last week so I’ll do my best to remain professional.
P.S.: Madoka’s mom…prettyyyyy. However, my heart still belongs to Thunder-sensei.
P.P.S: APB #1 is a terrible trap. Just because they’re pretty boys doesn’t mean one of them NEEDS to be girly…unless he’s like Kimi to Boku’s Shun and was raised in a household mostly full of women. That would sort of make sense but not here.

I really like the flashback it was really sad and when I watch that part I was like is this the best anime of winter season of 2012? I was like HELL YEAH!
I didn’t expect Youko to be so cool. But still her expression doesn’t change at all, lol! Madoka’s mom is.. omg. best thing ever.
Frankly those parts are the only things that mattered this week, the flashback and WOOF!
This show is certainly one of my favorites this season that’s for sure. It has a balanced mixed of everything I like and want from a GOOD mecha anime. Sure there’s emo crap every now and then but thankfully it isn’t the main focus.
Also it has one of the best main protagonists in a mecha anime, Madoka! I haven’t liked a Japanese Mecha anime’s main protagonist this much since the legendary Kamina.

Oh, I almost forgot this week’s bonus Lan moment: “Ouch…ouch…ouch”. What is it about Lan that makes her adorable? Scratch that, what is it about all 3 girls that make them adorable besides their bigamy?

You should be more concerned with the fact there are enough boys and girls to make boy/girl couples. For now there is nothing to worry about, but in the future, I expect the boys to be on Madoka’s side. Keep your faith in yuri and something might not happen.
Of course I’m aware of that fact but if you read my summary carefully, you’d notice that I’m not concerned with that. Who do you think I am, Feal87? Pffft.
