Another episode 7: Hara-Kiri

With the calm before the storm over with, it’s time to delve into the bloody madness once again in Another 7. this latest death could be the worst yet, even worse than “death by umbrella.”.

Remember this picture from last wee? Well here’s the continuation and boy is it brutal.

No, it most certainly did not Mei.

So yeah, everyone naturally panicked after this most shocking and gruesome “final cut”.

Angry angry tails looking at Mei and Male Lead.

Mr Librarian suspects the teacher committed Hara-Kiri in front of his students due to overstress in his personal life mixed with the curse. So yeah, it’s not over. Besides, we still have 6 more episodes to go, or was it 5?

On the school rooftop, energetic guy is talking with our main duo again while Angry Tails warns them of life becoming tougher for them from now on. Also, Mei made a funny.

At the library the duo asks Mr Librarian for the class record of 25 years ago. Apparently the deaths mysteriously stopped in august that year and it has something to do with the class visiting a shrine during a field trip that year. Also, Miss Mikami came earlier to ask about the shrine as well. And so, Miss Mikami organizes a class trip to that very shrine and she’s DEAD serious.

After the break we get a really freaky nightmare sequence where Mei tells Male Lead something worrisome. Is it foreshadowing? BTW, neat CGI effects. He wakes up and gets a call from papa. He asked papa about a ghost picture. He later gets a phone call from Energetic Guy on a matter concerning the class.

I posted this picture because she looks cute here.

ML heads to the meeting spot where Angry Tails is the 1st person there. They talk about the possibility of ML really being the “extra dead student” but quickly dismiss it. Angry Tails still has a feeling she’s met him before. Oh, and she really has a beef with Energetic Guy for some reason.

Pinky guy’s older sister.

Anyway, Big Pink talks about a frequent customer who also used to attend class 9C and claims to have saved the class thanks to a certain item he left behind somewhere. The team agrees to interview the guy.

ML visits the Doll house and let’s just say it’s a bit creepier than previous visits, at least it was for me. Mei’s still adorable, yes, but I can’t deny her creepiness.

Next week, an anime tradition even in a suspense/thriller. Ah, you can always count on one of these sneaking into many shows. Oh well, I’ll get to see my sweet Ryoko wearing less as I’d wanted for so long.

  1. Death by drowning is a little to clean for this series. Maybe someone will be run over by jet ski or eaten by a shark. Hell maybe it will fool us all and no one will die that episode. I believe we have 5 episodes left in the series.

Anger Tails is going to stop being Anger Tails because it didn’t work? Finally. I half expected most of the rest of the class to die before she stopped that BS.

So since most of the class has headed for the hills after the teacher killed himself, I half expect that only the characters shown in the preview will actually go on the trip.

Heh, Mei makes creepy look adorable. I think ML tried to go in for a kiss when he saw Mei in the doll box/coffin.

    • Your suggestions wouldn’t be surprising considering how brutal this show’s deaths have been so far.

Angry Tails will always be Angry Tails to me, even if she smiles more often from now on.

      One more time, Ryoko+Bikini=Happy OG.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they made ML and Mei a couple by the end of the show.

  2. It might not be the curse that the teacher died. It my be because of his self depression. But I think the curse of something in related but without much of an influence. This episode is bloody and I love it!

What beach episode? No idea why they are talking this route but I guess it’s just for the fanservice. But than again there might be people dying and shit, so it’s cool!

    • Rei, accept it. I had to learn this the hard way after watching Lagrange 7: never question anime traditions. EVER! Whether we like it or not, it’s here to stay.
I also learned why you’re still watching this show specifically.
