Rinne no Lagrange episode 7 V2: What REALLY happened.

This 2nd look is all thanks to the lovely Black Gekihara and her brilliant summary on Yuri-Goggles.com:

Rinne 07 – It’s Okaaaaaaaaaay Muginami

Here’s what REALLY happened.

So last week, Cherry and Madoka had an argument which caused both to split for a while. they took time to think about it and bumped into each other as Madoka was feeling down about not being able to hold her Cherry.

Let the love power flow through you.

Here’s…for last night.

It was incredible Madoka…do you think Lan will mind being left out? Nah.

Madoka and Cherry talked it over, with Cherry apologizing. They made love in the bathtub. However, Cherry still feels guilty for having picked Villa over Madoka earlier before finally seeing the light so she feels unworthy of eating more Madoka flavored pie.

Cherry, last night was amazing. Please don’t go. You’re confused before, but it’s all better now because you only did what you thought was right. It’s okay Cherry…Will you marry me?

M-Madoka…after what I did…you still love me? You want to pop my cherry again?

MADOKA! I can’t hold back any longer. I did my best to support you quietly as you followed you heart to make Cherry yours as well, but I can’t take it anymore! I’m so lonely…I’m ready Madoka. TAKE ME! RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!

Alrighty Lan…it has been a while. What do you say Cherry?

And so the three young ladies spent the night out on the beach, under the moonlight as their hearts became one.

The real end!

    • The fanservice on the show as a whole has been quite minimal in my opinion. They don’t shove it down your throat that the girls are obviously smokin and I like that. Besides, it gives nation members plenty of material to work with and that’s awesome.

      • Actually I consider this episode a text book case of the correct use of fanservice. What we saw was sweet, not illogical, and most importantly actually served the plot by making Madoka, Lan, and Muginami hearts become one.

Hell I would even hesitate to call it fanservice, since the basic part of definition of fanservice is that its an “extra” for the fans. I honestly don’t see how the episode would have had the same conclusion if Madoka and Muginami didn’t talk in the bath, or everyone marked their declaration of being a family with a moonlight bathe in the ocean.

      • Ok, I think I need to clarify my statement. I was talking about the Madoka and Muginami’s bath and all three of them moonlight bathing being a text book case of the good use of fanservice.

Honestly you are right, this episode also has a text book case of a bad use of fanservice. It should have been fish instead of eels. No tentacle aspects then.

The maid outfits is kind of standard, so not really good or bad. It did give Lan a chance to tsun at Muginami though.

      • Cherry feeling Lan’s in her words “perfect body” was blissful. Though some would argue Cherry has the superior sex appeal based body, I still prefer Madoka’s hot bod for the younger ladies while Thunder-sensei is my MILF in this show.

    • Well I am the self proclaimed master of the genre. I do my very best to represent the nation with honor and glory. The beauty of girls love will never die!

Besides, we know for a fact this is what really happened.

  1. While my goggles are telling me that the events happened slightly differently, I still reached the same sweet ending. That night, Madoka, Lan, and Muginami by the light of the moon declared their eternal love for each other.

Hell when I don’t use my goggles, the events in my mind are not all that different. What is undeniable is that Madoka/Lan/Muginami have become for all practicable purposes, canon.

I really wish people would focus on this aspect of the episode, instead of what everyone has been arguing about.

      • I know, but I wish at least on SA people can focus on the really good stuff we have been given, instead of fighting about characters actions they themselves feel remorseful for.

    • Let’s review last weekend’s arguments.
-We started off with Yomi’s debatable “Jelly” mode.
-Next we have Miku’s most recent actions (I trust you’ve seen episodes 5 and 6 BY NOW, since you chose to play clean with this show for some reason).
-Lastly there’s Cherry and Villa’s flashback and her actions. I only have a gripe with the emo crap. What happened after the 14 minute mark was yuri heaven.

      • Yes I have seen Symphogear episodes 05 and 06. I really can’t wait until Friday for episodes 07 and 08.

Yomi is jealous of Yuu simply because she kind of needs to learn that love doesn’t mean total 100% possessiveness. I hope Mato quickly figures out Yomi feels left out and reassures her that she does in fact love her.

Yes I do wish Muginami’s intro did have less drama, but at least we can look at it served the purpose of removing any reason she might chose Villa over Madoka. Also it made Madoka, Lan, and Muginami’s declaration of love all the more sweeter. Really, I would gladly suffer though an emo phase since the payoff was so wonderful. Also unlike certain mecha series, at least there was logic to this phase, and it was not just to have the main lead wine thought out the series.

As an aside, I really feel Lan is going to be adorable next episode once she gets to see the Orcas. Heh, its going to be fun! I really hope she gets to ride one.

    • I merely saw it as a rewrite of the OVA plot with some additions. Some lovely additions. In any case, the writers continue to use the word friend while also not being afraid to let the world know they’re lovers. Good stuff. Most writers are pussies when it comes to yuri but I suppose they pull through every now and then.

Well at least you caught up…sort of.

like I said earlier, the less emo crap the better. As long as it’s not use on a constant basis, I’m okay. Lan meets Orcas and remembers her intimate moments with Madoka…getting an orgasm as a result. Genius.

  2. Hopefully now that Cryssoberyl has spoken on the SA thread, the nation can get back to job one: Enjoying the sweet moonlight Yuri.

      • I don’t see how it is your fault. I think the debate over the last few episodes just boiled over. The one thing to take away is that no matter what your views the actions of the characters, most of us can agree we got a rather sweet denouncement to this arc.

    • In the end, what really matters is the payoff and our brains shifting into turbo. Glory to the nation!
Also, more Lan cuteness secretly hiding her true desire to feel Madoka’s body with hers. Eventually she’ll respect and share Madoka’s desire for a bigamy…and her own wish to see orcas.

      • I think its clear at this point Lan is willing to share Madoka with Muginami. And honestly I think its going to get really interesting for the nation as Lan and Muginami’s relationship develops. Heh, right now Lan is becoming a full on tsundere for Muginami and Muginami just can’t help but tease her to get that lovely tsun-tsun reaction out of her. I think in the end the deep love for Madoka they both have will not be the only thing that unites them.
