Strawberry Zesshou Symphogear Panic 3: Miku needs a hug

I’m not a guy who usually downloads anime vid torrent but I suppose now during the Internet War, I have no choice.

So we begin this episode 1 month later apparently, with both Stone Cold her thing and taking down Gnosis left and right, while Hibiki is having trouble keeping up. After rightful concern from Hibiki’s waifu, Miku, we get a flashback of last week’s cliffhanger…

I can’t resist this joke:

So of course as Hibiki clearly wants to make peace, Ivan Drago here won’t accept Hibiki taking her ex’s place.

Sorry, but this Dive Kick into Heaven’s Wrath animation is too epic to deny.

My thoughts exactly.

So after that…seriously I know he’s in good shape but…look at the vid again. Anyway, Stone Cold is trying to do her best impression of KOS-MOS and failing miserably.

Let’s see, I’ve got Stone Cold Tsubasa, KOS-MOS cosplayer, Ivan Drago and of course Breast Reduction Chikane Himemiya. How many more can I come up with, I wonder?

An important showing nation members what final words were shared between future lovers before being separated.

After Hibiki gives Miku more reasons to worry about her, she heads to HG to discuss the increase in Gnosis activity and come to the conclusion there’s something or someone controlling the Gnosis, a sentient being if you will. They also suspect this being is after the Durandal, basically the Symphogear power source. There’s also something about the US being nosy as always but that’s irrelevant.

…the more I like at Sakurai, the more I WANT an anime tradition episode just to see her wearing a swimsuit…a bikini if possible.

After some weird walking animation and more bad acting from Tsubasa, we learn Sakurai is a…Hibiki is legal…and…umm

“ahem”, moving on, I’m starting to think the main purpose of Hibiki’s classmates are 4th wall jokes. While the other 3 girls go playing badminton, Miku stays behind to help Hibiki. Even they know about their relationship and kinda give Hibiki a happy marriage. Yeah I know I’m pushing it but can you blame me for the writers blatantly pleasing me? At the same time they can’t stop being predictable as Hibiki gets “the call” right after she’s in the clear to go on her star gazing date with Miku. Tch.

Good grief, these Miku scenes are making me feel sadder than Tsubasa moping scenes.

Henshin a go-go, take 3.

Hooohohohohohohohoho!

After a very cool fight scene courtesy of our own Berserk Mode Hibiki, someone Sir Steven Regal wishes to meet arrives:

The Nehushtan Armor.

Next week, we’ll learn more of this mysterious gray armored lady.

P.S.: Now you know why I’m still a virgin. I sometimes want to cry.

  1. I actually went “Oh Shit!” out loud upon return of Berserk Mode Hibiki. So the Symphogear armor is not only powered by song, but it’s affected by emotion too.

Kanade’s last words made me cry, and I’m still kind of teary eyed writing this. I really really hope Kanade returns in some form for Tsubasa.

Poor Miku, I really wish Hibiki could tell her what she is doing.

Oh wow, Ryouko is not subtle at all!

Looks like we have moved from the monster of the week phase to facing the main big bad, or at least the dragon. I wonder how long until the school gets a mysterious new silver haired transfer student? I’m kind of looking forward to seeing Nehu-tan get befriended, which I hope is what happens.

    • Hohohoho. Now that’s team spirit dood! Berserk Mode “brought the house down” so to speak. Good stuff I must say.

All 4 of our lovely protagonists need love and to be loved again. It’s painful seeing them all unable to be with the ones they love, especially Miku. I feel for her way more than for Stone Cold, even though she also deserves to be reunited with her lost love.

      Ryouko…uh-oh….eeeeeeeaaaaaaaaasy big fella, steady now.

So the gray being is a separate entity? Good. I was worried for a minute there for obvious reasons.
